Final 2026 Ultra Rare Token Images <= Last Chance! 1 day 20 hours ago #1

Due to the issues brought to light by the Mark of Enlightenment, I am removing the Manual of Strength from the list of URs. It should be back in 2027, but I want to wait to make sure all plans are announced at the time we go to print. I replaced it with something a certain mad tinkerer would use to summon some lightning for his crazy golem experiments.

Please have one last look at these 2026 URs. I will go to print with these unless some issues are found. Thank you!

Not saying it's an issue, just pointing out that Storm Seeker Gloves are pretty close to being a functional reprint for Blessed Tempest Gloves. Those came out in 2018, so it has probably been long enough that some would like a fresh alternative. The only difference is the Shock damage type, which makes them better in some combats (monsters vulnerable to shock) or worse in others (monsters mitigate shock).

Storm Seeker Gloves: I'd replace these with a desirable reprint or change the effect.

There are existing in the hand slots:

+4 Missile Damage: UR hand slot items (Gloves of Greater Archery)
+5 Damage with 2 handed weapons: which covers bows, crossbows, and Mystic Staffs (Gloves of the Gladiator 2024)
+3 Range Damage: Exalted Blessed Tempest gloves which can be had for $15 on the secondary market.

I'd use this slot for a reprint, or change the effect to something not already available:

+4 to Spell Damage
+3 to Focus
+2 to hit and damage with Ranged attacks

Something like that.

If swapping the gloves power, could also do gloves of the Savant: +6 Savant m damage with successful skill check

Expect for the greave transmute there i no other UR that will make a high end wizard build. Nightmare and below are where these URs will end up being used.

I can't see people using either the belt of the accursed or the crossbow. The belt as a UR is worse than belt of the brave. Why order a UR for $50-$100 when you get a vastly better effect from a $10 rare?
The crossbow is meh. I am ok with it at UR but the transmute tree makes no sense. I'll post about that piece there.
The shirt isn't terribly interesting. I would vastly rather it be a shape-change item available for all classes. 1/game you can turn into a werewolf.

I'll be getting the crossbow for our rogue Assassin. :)

It is ok but I wouldn't pay new PYP prices for it. If I had to choose between a sacred sling and the UR crossbow, with the current pricing on that sling, it would be hard to justify the crossbow. $30 for the sling or $80+ for the crossbow. With the gloves that just came out, a UR using rogue is best off with the gloves and a nightshade's dagger.

That is true. From my perspective, our Rogue played the Assassin for the first time last year, and was SO happy when she assassinated the boss monster. The Crossbow has a "6" on 1/3 of the damage wheel, which is a bit better than the 1/4 of the damage wheel for the sacred sling. I know that's a corner case though, I have no idea how many people play the Assassin class even once a year.

On the other hand, maybe I'm better off with the sacred sling to keep all of the monsters from getting assassinated. ;)

If memory serves, the best assassin weapons are the assassin's crossbow and the assassin's blade. The assassin's blade is a great comparison. The assassin's blade does the same damage as the legendary if you have an enchanter's whetstone. 8.5 dmg on the wheel for sneak attacks and you spent $10. It can't be thrown, though so it is just melee. And it as a 6 on 1/3 of the numbers. On a crit, assuming Raphael's', the assassin's blade does the same damage as the legendary against non-undead and 20% lower damage against undead/outsiders - at 1/100th the cost.

A shuriken of shock or shuriken of venom can be thrown and would only do 2 less dmg /1 less damage than the legendary (wheel) when using the whetstone. Again - at a cost of $10 for a ranged weapon.

Can't throw an Assassin's Blade.
